Doobie, I don't think there was a time frame for the bad seals, just seems like it was with this purticuler engine. I think we installed the last one in early 2006. The dealer replaced the seals in 3/07. The cam has a lot of duration for a stock crate engine. I think this is where it gets the 290 HP rating. I believe these were assembled in Mexico.
