Hello Looking for some help. Just got my new ZZ4 350 motor with 750 Holley carb running in my 1940 Ford Coupe and after it warms up and if you rev it up fast in park by hitting the gas and letting off the engine will backfire out the carb and the exhaust with the RPM is up around the 3000to 3500 range.

If you want to know what the ZZ3 uses, you can still find the parts list on the GMPP pages, but like I said, you can read the specs on the ZZ4 becauses its pretty much the same engine. I'm using a 670cfm carb on mine (ZZ3) – you shouldn't have anything larger than a 750cfm on that engine if its stock. The crate motors don't come with a carb. Scott.
