The ZZ3 is the previous model of the ZZ4 (around 1993)- I think there might be some minor compression difference between the two engines.

The guy I bought my car from told me it has a ZZ3 crate motor in it. It has the aluminum heads and looks like it is the ZZ3. My question is does anyone know the specs on the ZZ3? I know it is an older version of the ZZ4, but I can't find find any info about the internals. Anything would help. Thanks!

You are probably somewhere between 9-1 and 9.5-1 compression with the bigger 64cc chamber vs. the ZZ3 58cc heads. Also, the alum heads flowed better than the iron heads. My wild guess is 300-325 hp for your engine.
